Wood sculpture, 'The Mermaid'

This original work of art is handmade by Wayan Genep of Bali. The artist describes his inspiration as the "enchanting and mysterious sea" that surrounds his native island. Hand-sculpted in local albesia wood and delicately hand-painted.
